The sound design and soundtrack are fantastic, the game play is varied enough (if you can avoid making one of the fairly OP unit builds), and the lore/world building is top-notch. If you're unsure, check out the Mandalore Gaming on review of it on YouTube. It's not perfect, but for the price it's really solid.

This 1-star has nothing to do w/ the GOG client; it's just the game. I really enjoyed playing Double Dragon back when I was a kid, but this brings all of the bad issues back along with it. Along with the input lag that this game always suffered from, this port just doesn't give a shit. - It skimps on title screens (there is only a still image on a main menu for the game select, and that's it). - The resolution options don't work for 21:9; the menus will be at the correct resolution, but when you start the game you get it all stretched out. Overall it just feels slapped together.

I don't love it, but I really, really like it. It's gorgeous, and the soundtrack is even (generally) more enjoyable than Bastion's. It does get a bit mechanically dense, and it can be finished in about 5 hours if you aren't taking your time, but there is a New Game+ mode ("Recusrion"). I got it on sale, and I don't regret it one bit.

While the first 2 games had a certain level of jank to them that their charm had to overcome, this game manages to not only improve on its formula, but put so many other open-world RPGs to shame. It's no coincidence that so many people think this is new Gold Standard for AAA titles across the board.
